Overview
Safe Harbor was established in 1998 with the mission of educating the public and medical field on nondrug treatments in mental health. Our web site, www.alternativementalhealth.com, has had more than 13 million visits.
We are slowly re-establishing our internet work and need an executive director for two days a week to help us do this. The duties will be to help update our site, work on getting funding so we can add staff, and to help create a new groundbreaking app that will tremendously aid those seeking mental health help.
This is a labor of love for someone passionate about improving the quality of life for those with mental health issues.
This is currently for two days a week but hours and staffing would increase as we work on procuring additional funding.
Past nonprofit executive experience required. Must have strong writing and communication skills and be familiar with grant writing and/or fundraising and general operations of a nonprofit.
Since we are focusing on creating an app, a background in digital technology is helpful.
