Volunteers Needed – Make a difference! As the nation’s largest statewide LGBTQ+ civil rights organization, Equality California brings the voices of LGBTQ+ people and allies to institutions of power in California and across the United States, striving to create a world that is healthy, just, and fully equal for all LGBTQ+ people.
The San Diego Equality Awards are an opportunity to celebrate pro-equality champions and the LGBTQ+ community.
VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY:
- We’re looking for volunteers to help greet, guide, check in guests, and assist during the evening’s program during a shift that runs from 4 pm to 8:30 pm.
- All volunteers will be able to enjoy the event after their shift, including food, bar, and dessert! All volunteers must be 21+.

When: Friday, May 30, 2025
Event Time: 6:00 pm – 10:00 pm
Volunteer Shift: 4:00 pm – 8:30 pm

Zoom Training: We will be hosting a volunteer Zoom training to be held on Wednesday, May 28, 2025, from 12:00 pm – 12:45 pm. All volunteers are strongly encouraged to attend.
