Digital Director 

As our Digital Director, you will help College Track do impactful digital outreach so that we can further their mission, engage supporters effectively, and drive growth. Day to day, you will lead the development and execution of comprehensive digital strategies, oversee website management, content creation, email marketing, digital advertising, and analytics. To thrive in this job, you must have a deep understanding of digital marketing principles, strong project management skills, and a passion for leveraging technology for social change.

You’ll know Digital Director is the right fit for you if… 

  • You have a minimum of 7-10 years of experience in digital strategy, digital marketing, or related fields, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field. A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Google Analytics, PMP) is highly desirable.
  • You have a proven track record of developing and implementing successful digital campaigns, in the nonprofit sector preferred.
  • You are proficient in digital marketing tools and platforms, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media, and content management systems.
  • You have strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
  • You have proven ability to build relationships and work effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • You are excited to support the team in a hybrid capacity – You can be based in Washington, DC, Denver, Los Angeles, New Orleans or Oakland.

This position is full-time, exempt. College Track offers a competitive, region-specific, salary based on our compensation philosophy, which is grounded in market data. The full salary range for the position is listed below based on geography.

D.C., Oakland, Los Angeles: $120,000-$180,000

Sacramento & New Orleans: $114,000-$171,000

Denver Metro: $108,000-$162,000

As a new staff member, you can likely expect an offer in the middle of the range to ensure internal equity while leaving room for salary growth during your time at College Track. The target range for each location is listed below.

D.C., Oakland, Los Angeles: $147,000 – $156,000

Sacramento & New Orleans: $139,650 – $148,200

Denver Metro: $132,300 – $140,400
