Catholic Charities of Los Angeles, Inc. is one of the largest non-profit human services providers in California that operates a variety of programs to serve the poor and strives to find permanent solutions to crisis situations by offering clients the tools and resources needed to achieve greater self-reliance and stability in their lives. 

Angel’s Flight is a shelter for homeless, run-a-way and at-risk youth ages 10-17 years old is seeking an individual that is passionate about making a difference in the lives of those that are most vulnerable. The individual will work with individuals who are refugees or immigrant children, providing case management, emotional support, crisis intervention and resources.

The person in this role manages all aspects of Catholic Charities’ programs in a region, including program development, financial management, resource development, strategic planning, quality improvement, program operations and assessment.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct and supervise assigned program staff and volunteers. 
  • Responsible for the fiscal and human resources implementation with the region.
  • Maintain liaison with key governmental, Agency and community leaders in the region.
  • Plan, organize and conduct approved programs in accordance with official directives and applicable contract provisions and government regulations.
  • Supervises program staff responsible for implementation of programs and maintenance of program records in accordance with approved standards and practices.
  • Implement program policies and procedures to ensure contractual and legal compliance as well as program performance standards.
  • Participates in fundraising activities
  • Serves as community liaison.
  • Establishes and maintains cooperative relationships with other agencies and community groups.
  • Promotes continuous quality improvement and service delivery that is aligned with the Agency’s mission.

 Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in a related field. 
  • Five to seven years of related experience including three years in a supervisory position.
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish highly preferred. 
  • Direction, evaluation, training and supervision of staff.
