Come join Fairyland as our Temporary Education Specialist for a chance to grow your skills in teaching, lesson planning, and community building. We are looking for an energetic candidate who wants to share their love for teaching and working with children to creating positive mindsets towards themselves and our community.
The Temporary Education Specialist will be supporting Fairyland’s Flora & Fauna program, which is designed to bring out a child’s inner naturalist. It engages children with nature through guided inquiry grounded in Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and includes online video episodes, lesson plans, and in-person experiences in our gardens. K-3nd grade classes explore plants and animals through hands-on activities, storytelling and play! This temporary role runs from September through December.
